“The Stables is a stunning property, beautiful forest surrounds a well designed and functional home. The house is well planned, flows well with lots of spaces for large groups to come together or relax in. The house has lots of lovely details, like heated polished concrete flooring and floor-to-ceiling windows in the places you most want to look out from to enjoy your surrounds. The “Other Side” also retained some beautiful details from the original building that were a delight to inspect. I’ve got to say the master bedroom also with floor-to-ceiling windows, looking out on the forest was a true highlight. We woke up to see deer grazing through the trees. My now husband and I hosted our wedding here with the coming together of our two families and guests and Eoin was most welcoming and very helpful in the planning. We would love to return again someday. It was truly special and we enjoyed every moment of being there. Thank you Eoin!”

It is perfect for a family gathering, friends’ dinner or time away from the hustle and bustle of life. Tucked away in the forest, the drive into the grounds feels like you are entering your own world of peace, quiet and privacy. The house is modern with stunning nods to the old Stables which were converted. The beds are super comfy and there is literally everything you need in terms of cooking, entertaining, and just chilling out. Each room is stunning ensuring each guest feels special and like they have their own little corner of heaven. Ballymahon is a lovely little town just down the road with everything you need and lovely places to eat. Eoin was incredibly accommodating and helpful in the run-up to our big day, and went above and beyond to help us get organised and put us at ease. It’s hard to describe this place until you stay here. It’s a gem, book it, you won’t regret it.”
